Subscription Terms

These terms apply to TropeCrush VIP subscriptions purchased through Stripe checkout. Completing checkout creates a paid recurring subscription for the plan you select and activates VIP access after payment is confirmed.

VIP Access

VIP unlocks access to currently published TropeCrush stories while your subscription remains active. Stories and catalog availability may change over time.

Offers and Prices

The public MVP offers are Annual VIP at $99.99/year and Weekly VIP at $9.99/week. TropeCrush does not offer a free trial for the MVP.

Eligible readers may see a hidden paywall exit offer or retention offer for Annual VIP at $59.99 for the first year. After that first year, the subscription renews at $99.99/year unless canceled before renewal. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Taxes or fees may be added where required and will be shown in checkout when applicable.

Automatic Renewal

VIP subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Weekly VIP renews every week at $9.99/week. Annual VIP renews every year at $99.99/year, except that the eligible $59.99 first-year annual offer renews at $99.99/year after the first year.

Checkout should show the plan, price, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation method, and taxes or fees before you agree to pay. By completing checkout, you authorize recurring charges for the selected plan.

Payment Processor

Paid checkout and subscription billing are processed by Stripe. Stripe may send receipts, payment notices, and billing-management emails related to your subscription.

Cancellation

You can cancel online through Stripe Customer Portal or the billing-management flow made available from TropeCrush. If you cannot access the portal, contact privacy@tropecrush.com for help. Canceling stops future renewal charges but does not automatically refund prior charges.

Access After Cancellation

Unless checkout states otherwise, VIP access continues until the end of the paid billing period after cancellation. If a payment fails and is not recovered, VIP access may end when the subscription is no longer active or recoverable.

Refunds

Subscription charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law, Stripe rules, or a specific written refund commitment from TropeCrush.

Price or Term Changes

If we materially change subscription terms or prices for an active subscription, we will provide notice and explain how to cancel before the change takes effect where required.
